Children at the Lord's Table

Once a year First Presbyterian Church hosts an Introduction to Communion for K-5 through 5th grade children and their parents. This lunch and learn session is designed to help children better understand the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper. This year the children participated in a scavenger hunt and made a placemat using traditional symbols of Communion. They also learned about the "behind the scenes" of how the bread and juice make to the congregation on Communion Sundays. The kids of First P had a blast this year at their Introduction to Communion!
